Embryonic Stem Cell Line
(2008 version)

This project was done for a summer internship to help students better understand how Embryonic Stem Cells are used for research. On day one the egg is fertilized by sperm where it begins rapidly dividing. The image at the bottom was copyrighted and could not be used for this purpose.

Embryonic stem cells grow rapidly and cause tumors. They are also controversial among many groups of people. Researchers are now focused on other types of stem cell lines.
